LaVar Arrington is quite possibly the most feared Redskin. He was selected 2nd overall in the 2000 draft by us. He has never worn another uniform. He is considered one of the most athletic linebackers in the NFL due to his explosive speed and humongous stature. Despite only playing in 4 games in 2004 due to injuries, he still managed to rack up 18 tackles and sack. This past season he had a falling out with Joe Gibbs and unfortunately played 13 games (starting 8 of them). Throughout his career in the NFL and as a Redskin, he's amassed 432 tackles (290 solo), 22.5 sacks, 11 forced fumbles, 3 interceptions, and a touchdown. He's been invited to the pro-bowl 3 times, starting 2 of them. Don't mess with this monster.

This year, Arrington had some key plays. The play that really set him aside, however, was when he caught an interception from Chris Simms in the Wild Card playoff game at Tampa bay, which he returned 21 yards to set up the touchdown.
