Tips for "Teachers"

You are no longer the teacher: at least in the conventional sense of the word.

   What are you then?

  • a learner
  • a resource
  • a team member
  • a peer

Learn to Learn as the students do.

What will be covered in class?

  • what do the students want?
  • what interest them?
  • how can their interests be related to the curriculum?

   How will you grade?

  • leave it up to the students (within reason)
  • let them evaluate each other: peer pressure doesn't always have to be negative

Most importantly, let go of your control. Trust the students to take control of their education. They will respect you for it.
