Welcome to the Providence College

Gaelic Society!

The PC Gaelic Society was established in 1999 to
promote Irish culture and to serve as a means for
students, faculty, and the Providence-area community
as a whole (persons from any cultural background)
to further participate in and appreciate Irish culture
in and around Rhode Island. Some of our events have
included: Decorate a Pumpkin (which has celtic
origans), stepdancing lessons, lectures with the Irish
Culture Association of Rhode Island (ICARI), and our
annual Irish Fest.

Gaelic Society is associated with the Board of
Multicultural Student Affairs (BMSA) which is a
student organization that represents all the
multicultural clubs under Student Congress.
Together both clubs put on events to raise cultural
awareness on campus.

We hope that you will join us at some of our events in the future!
