The Friars Club of Providence College is one of the oldest clubs and organizations at PC that was established in 1928. The club is composed of seventy-two members who dedicate their time and energy to serve Providence College. The club currently gives tours to perspective students in their traditional white blazers each day. Friars Club works various events on campus including commencement, convocation, freshman accepted students weekend, freshman parents weekend, and upperclassman parents weekend. The club works at Amos House in downtown Providence on Friday mornings serving food to the local homeless and donating their time to other charity events. |
