the 2000-2001 academic year.
General
Jen ZuWalick attended the Student Recognition Awards
Ceremony as a representative of the Debate Team on Wednesday, April 18, 2001.
The Debate Team did not win any awards, but we received certificates of nomination
in the following categories:
Most Successful Fundraiser, Annual
Debate Tournament
Club Spirit Award
Moderator of the Year, Richard Deasy
Student Leader of the Year, Paul Kessimian
The Debate Team held elections for next
year's executive board on Thursday, April 19, 2001. The results
of the elections are as follows:
President-elect: Brianne Brady
Vice President-elect: Sean Caruthers
Secretary-elect: Jen ZuWalick
Treasurer-elect: Mary-Kate Lizotte
Debate Liaison-elect: Matt Palmer
On April 30, 2001, next year's
executive board held their first meeting.
