Singing Groups

Currently, the A Cappella Club consists of three singing groups: Special Guest, Anaclastic, and Strictly Speaking.

Special Guest is the only all male a cappella group on the PC Campus. They were the first a cappella group and formed in 1996. Currently, they are 12 members strong and are making a name for themselves in the New England Area. They are considered to be a contemporary a cappella group, doing such selections as In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel and Thank You by Boyz II Men. Anaclastic is the only a female a cappella group on the PC Campus. They formed in 1998 and consist of 12 talented vocalists. They are considered to be contemporary a cappella group, doing such selections as Can't Take My Eyes Off You by Lauren Hill and Mambo No. 5 by Lou Bega.

Strictly Speaking, formed in 1999, is the newest singing group to the A Cappella Club. They are the only co-ed a cappella group on the PC Campus. They consist of 10 talented members. They are considered to be a contemporary a cappella group, doing such selections as Omaha by the Counting Crows and Shed a Little Light by James Taylor
