Northeast Student Global AIDS Campaign Conference

What: Northeast Student Global AIDS Campaign Conference

When: Nov. 8-10 (Registration starts at 6pm and goes until 7:00 on Friday. The conference will finish by 1:30 on Sunday.)

Where: Williams College (Williamstown, MA)

Why: To learn about the pandemic that has killed 21 million already and infects 40 million currently AND to become a part of the grassroots movement to wipe it out.

Who: Students from all over the Northeast-old time AIDS activists and people who know virtually nothing about the pandemic or activism. (i.e.: no experience necessary!)

Featuring: Zackie Achmat (director of the Treatment Action Campaign in South Africa) and Chung To (founder of the Chi Heng Foundation in Hong Kong)

How: Register to come to the conference online at www.fightglobalaids.org or contact Healy at 03hft@williams.edu or 413-597-2624 for more information

Registration for the conference is $20 per person and includes all meals, speakers, and materials at the conference. (It's being substantially subsidized by Williams College and area businesses.) We recommend trying to get your school to pay your way, but we won't turn anyone away if money is a problem. Just let us know.

Housing will be provided at Williams for all conference participants.

Parking is free and easily accessible.
